I bought a Sony CDX-MP40 CD/MP3 Player for my car not long ago, and am very very pleased with it. Sound Quality is good, the only drawback is that my fingers are too large for the little fiddly buttons, but i suppose every single DIN radio is like that.

Cost me £120 from cel-direct.com

Was also impressed with Cel's delivery time: next working day.

Happy Hunting

UK Audio shop are doing the CDX-M800 for £160. Cel is £180. CDX is a special offer, cel isn't.

It depends what you want. Style or function (mp3 wise I mean).

Kenwood 8024 is £250 at CEL.

It just shows to shop around before you buy.

The Pioneer 3500MP was definitely my first choice. Packed with features and it will be reliable and easy to use. About £190ish from Halfords or £130 + delivery from ICS (www.mcs-direct.co.uk).

Unfortunately, cost creeped up to the top of my priority list and so I picked up a 6 month old Kenwood 6021 off Ebay for 90 quid (hope it works, lol).

Happy shopping

saw the Pioneer 3500MP for £125 at empiredirect.co.uk, seems that all the suppliers mentioned above have a deal on, but none are cheap for all, well worth checking them all for your chosen Unit.

Look for further price drops during Jan on Sony M800 and some good deals on Kenwood KDC7024. Ping if you're after these

Forget Sony mate, it maybe me but i've had so many problems with sony equipment(home & car) that i now steer VERY clear of it,also had a few mates with dodgy amps/head units and the after sales service is also crap. CAN recommend Kenwood kit as it seems quite reliable ,no i'm not being anti-sony and all that it's just the prob's i've had before!!!!
