Mobile Phone Holder
#1
I am looking to purchase a cradle for holding my Nokia mobile as I hardly use the phone in the car and it isn't worth buying a fully installed kit. What have you fitted if anything and does it fit well and where did you buy it?
Cheers

Depends what U want, have bought a few over the years - Halfords etc al do a number of different types, some that use a sucker that will go on the screen or on a base plate, other clip on to the vents. Neither are ideal but they work.

I have just done exactly that. I bought the proper Nokia holder, mine is a 6310i, and took the swivel mounting off the back, then I lined the four holes up carefully across the two switch blanks next to the front and rear fog switches on the right hand side of the steering column. I then drilled 4 small pilot holes in the blanks, 2 in each, and screwed the holder on with self tappers. Perfect as you don't destroy the interior, only 2 £1 switch blanks which are easily replaced when you sell the car!!
Really tight fit, no rattles.
Looks the dogs things too!!

Keep an eye on ebay, I managed to get the proper full installation kit of holder, electronic box, mic and interface to the stereo speakers for a staggering £20 all genuine no dodgy backstreet manufactured parts and from the uk.
