check out the amp on this link lads, and have a look at soundstream.com for the rest of the range. There's a DaVinci on ebay at the moment... anyone fancy an absolute top top amp - like you CAN'T get any better... EVER?

Looks krap and will not be better than a Custom made "Genesis" amp. (They will make you just about anything you want) a client of mine had a amp made by them that is a 5 channel with caps etc in it that cost £30.00 each!! the case is about twice as high as a normal amp. The sub section puts out nearly 600 watts and real big watts at that!!
Anyway...back to the soundstream.. Ive got a 4 way amp by them and love it.. But this amp looks like a "Pro Plus" attempt..

The Da Vinci is something that I keep watching out for - but there's no way I can afford one at the moment. It's the only amp I'd change the Continuum for
I think you're a little bit brand biased there Luke. If you've heard a properly set up Da Vinci then it'll take genesis a lot to match it. Saying that, the amp is what IMHO colours the noise in a car the least...

I love and own both makes.. But when you see a true custom made Genesis amp that costs £££££££ it was a work of art.I hate the "Tarty" hifi thing.... Its about the sound not the Gold bling bling stuff!!

I've seen custom genesis stuff - it's always a huge genesis heat sink with a plaque and that's yer lot . It's very much the English/British approach to hi-fi, which is grand.
The Da Vinci is however a stunning both aesthetically and sonically.
I'd quite happily have either, but preference would be for the flexibility of the Soundstream... But then again the appeal of a hand build thing to my specification does pull at the temptation strings.
It's all a bit academic really, as I'm not about to spend that money on an amp - the continuum is enough
Cheers,
Nick.
