iv bought a pioneer 500w 10'' Sub (boxed) and an Alpine Amp but the amp isnt powerful enough for the Sub. I tryed my brothers 100w RMS amp and it seemed ok but i expected more?

what kinda output amp should i be looking for but its gotta be cheap!

An MRP-T406 isn't going to be powerful enough if you want it loud - It was Alpine's cheapest amp from 2 years ago. Try their new MRP-M350 - 200Wrms, £150 RRP.Its a class-D mono amp with a bass eq, and should make the Sub sing nicely.
