You can get a Kenwood in dash TV in the US for good money - Model is KVT-M700

Would it work in a UK car?

Should do. You'd have to check that it supports PAL standards if you want to use UK devices on it as well.

Also, with the radio, the US FM steppings are different.

A guy on the CTR forum has one fitted with a DVD changer

Not necessarily, you just need to check whether it can be adjusted to UK steppings

A mate of mine from the states a few years ago brought his stereo over here with him and the radio didn't work in the states you get say 95.5fm, 95.7fm etc instead of 95.4fm, 95.6fm etc

Also don't forget that the DVD will probably be locked to Region 1 , so your DVD's may not work. Oh, and the warranty will not be vaild in the UK.

It is much cheaper, but you have to weigh up the pros and cons

Cheers mate. Think I've changed my mind now. Already have a KVT M700 but thought If I could get some cheap it may be worth it. But maybe not from the US
