There's a Necvox unit available that looks pretty tasty called the DVA-9690 - Centurion are the UK distributors IIRC, or BBG can supply too. Built in 5.1 decoder and amp, screen, the lot really...

One place I've seen 'em online is here for 900 quid.

Let us know if you go for one - I'd like to see one in the flesh

Security would potentially worry me... That's all

OMG! how nice is that - I posted a few weeks ago wanting a Double Din MP3 player.....

But £900 quid - ouch!

I wonder if it has any form of removable security?

better order 2 then, in case one breaks

It could be a sign that an updated version is around the corner, or simply that they want to shift stock.

please god no!!!!!!!!!!!

we had one of these centurion scrrens put into the bosses MY02, it literally chewed up CD's, kept catching on the silver dash surround when opening and the joystick button fell off on many occasions!

it was returned and replaced with Alpine stuff

I think it looks quite neat actually, again I think that Security could be a problem as there doesnt seem any way to hide the display.

It's different i'll give it that

Mr M, are you sure this is the same unit (Necvox 9690)?

Shame if it is, as it looks a great unit...

(my apologies - it doesn't have 5.1 built in, only output for an external decoder)

Bugger

That looked brilliant too

Thanks for confirming, and my apologies for worrying at it like a dog with a bone

I could always mount my touchscreen in the double din hole...

Eurocar fitted the unit into a classic impreza and it was spot on, no probs with it and it looked good!
