Would anyone know where I could hold of a small TFT monitor? I've found a few products but they all contain built in televisions or DVD players. I'm just after a simple monitor I can mount on the dash and plug into a Laptop.

Does your laptop have TV output or only VGA?

It has VGA and S-video outputs. I also have a 'TV' adaptor that connects to the S-video port and allows me plug into composite/video/audio TV ports.

Merconnet have a reasonable range at good prices. Never used them myself, so can't vouch for the service.

Yep, look for Merconnet, Necvox (centurion in the UK) and of course try ebay... Watch out for suppliers outside of the EU on ebay as you'll be stung for VAT etc...
