Question

Thanks guys, will take a look later.

Caraudiodirect don't do them , but goonasuk's link doesn't go to them anyway, it goes to caraudiodiscount !! Had me confused there for a minute !!

What's your opinion of them chiark ?? I had a set of the 165A's and liked them. Are the higher end ones worth the money ?? Was thinking about the 165V's (£200 ish).

They'll be a sod to fit - I think they're deeper. To be honest, I've only heard the access range in an Impreza so couldn't really comment.

Yep, even the access's were a bit of fun fitting !! What do you think of the access's out of interest ?

On the whole, I liked 'em. Lots of midbass (very lots) and a fairly good sound. Still quite lively/bright, but more controlled treble than the Infinity IMHO.

For the money, it's difficult to find better but they are "fun" to fit in the new shape.

I had great difficulty having these fitted in a my03. in the end I gave up and sent them back (still awaiting refund).

They fit into classics ok. And I think rememember someone getting these into a new age but the 3 hi fi installers i took the focal access 165a's too couldnt see how to fit them in my my03.

the cheapest place I found was

http://www.car-hifi.co.uk/focal/itm00058.htm

£ 115.99 & 10 delivery, but be warned they were not to pleased about taking them back because they didnt fit.

Cool

Thanks guys. There for a P1 so fitting should be ok. I've put them in a UK classic 5 door before, so I know roughly what needs done.
That last compnayb seem to be the only one that drop from the RRP, so thanks for that

I'm still deciding between the 165a's and 165v's, and I think pbee's already returned anyway. Nice idea though
