Just getting ahead of myself when i will be selling my car in the fall to get a type R & looking at how easy it will b to pull wot bits out 4 resale.
Anyway guna leave headunit front speakers & relevant amp so still a healthy system in there 4 the next owner but wana remove the subs & their amp. Subs i can manage unplug & pull outa da boot but with the AMP it is currently screwed on back of rear seats behind the subs so can i just unscrew this & detach the wires from the box & leave them as they r? Presumable the ends need tidying up so not just live wires knocking around.
Anything more i should b doing so as nothing untoward etc might happen?
Si (& his infamous retard mode lol)

Si,

seek professional help

Cheers,

Nick.

PS - you need to look at how power is going to the amp that you're taking out, and make damn sure that the fuse is removed from the supply to the +12V cable that you're about to remove, otherwise that'll short to ground and blow fuse(s). Also, you need to ensure that the remote turn on lead is not able to go to ground...

wow thats quick. I still remember you posting about installing your sound system, now you're taking it out.
Did you have fun with the system or was it a waste of money?
