Anybody know if you can buy just part of the CARK91 car kit or have it repaired cos I think the main unit on mine is stuffed as you cant hear anything through the speaker but the speaker itself is ok!

or failing that is their anybody that has broken the cradle or speaker or something that wants to get rid of just the main unit?

I just begrudge buying a whole new kit !

Have you tried cleaning the contacts? Also have you tried another phone? I had trouble with my car kit and one time it was the phone and another time it was just the contacts.

Hello there,

Pretty sure you can't buy the individual components separately they would much rather you bought a complete kit!
Before you go down that route try cleaning the contacts on the bottom of the cradle itself and on the bottom of your phone. Quite often this is all that's required. It's fairly rare for the main unit to go wrong unless it has been wet or smacked about.
If you think it is the main unit then i will have a look in the shed for a used one (at a very reasonable price )

the kit is for the 6310 but the same as for 6210, 5110 etc etc I think this is the most popular kit

yep tried both

the contacts did look a bit dirty but no differance after I cleaned them seems to get a VERY quiet sound through like all contact are there but the amp in the box is broken or somthing?!?

also same with another phone and another speaker
