Question

Is there a good earthing (ground) point in the boot of an Impreza for an amp?

I have borrowed a mates amp and speakers, nothing special but I believe it best to earth the amp in the boot.. is there a good bolt I can bolt my ground lead too?

Save me looking around with a torch this evening

Car is a MY96 UK Turbo Wagon BTW.

Cheers

you can use one of the bolts that fixs the back seats down or drill a small hole, sand it to bear metal and put a self tapping screw or small bolt in. OR use the boot catch bolts.
i hope some of this helps, have fun.

The boot catch! of course... need to undo it anyway to try and tighten the boot down a bit as it rattles..

Many thanks

I used one of the rear seatbelt anchor bolts under the back of the rear seat base - only two bolts to undo to get the seat base out.
