Under passenger seat would get my vote

Other option is in the boot, perhaps hung in the spare wheel well, but you might not change CDs as often...

I've put my 6 disk Alpine unit under the rear parcel shelf, easy access to the disks plus up out of the way from the usual boot debris.

Mine is fixed to the passenger seat and facing forward so I can get at the magazine.

Handy when parking in an unknown area and the discs have to come out.

Also it doesn't get kicked by passengers in the back!
