CD Changer Jammed
#1
I've got a Kenwood KRC C712 CD Changer, and when I try to play a CD I get an error code E-99 displayed. I tried to eject the cartridge but it is now stuck, have tried resetting the head unit but no luck, it just whirrs for a bit and that's it.
I'd just changed the CD's in the cartridge so I assume a CD is stuck, but how on earth do I get the thing out?
Any help gratefully received...
Thanks
Simon

Take it apart. There's a lever which is probably stuck mid-position that loads/unloads the CD from the changer into the read mechanism.
If you don't feel comfortable, take it to your local friendly ICE dealer, who shouldn't charge much to get it out...
Where in the country are you?

Thanks.
I was hoping there might be the equivalent of the paper clip hole thingy on CD ROMs.
Prob best given my inaptitude for things technical to go to the local ICE place.
Based near Guildford BTW.
Thanks
