Fusion??
#1
Ok
Can anyone help? We've had the car a while now MY99 B4 RSK and its about time to start upgrading the ICE. Went to Decibels and saw the Fusion Demo stand and opted for the following...
1 x Power Plant 12" (In Box)
2 x 6.5" Components for the front
2 x 6.5" 2 Way for rear doors
1 x FX40 Line Driver
1 x FP4-1000x Powerplant Amp
1 x FP2-1000x Powerplant Amp (Bridged)
(I think this was the setup I discussed!!)
With fitting, Cables e.t.c. Approx £1,600
Now I know everyone has their preferences but has anyone here had any experience with Fusion equipment? If So good/bad? Is this a reasonable setup?
Any comments welcome... May regret that!!!

This gear is used mostly for the 'noise' type cars if thats what you'r looking for it'll be fine... A more balanced 'quality sound' system would bias the budget towards the front speakers, and would NOT require any rear(door) spks ! One large three channel amp would be sufficent to power the front and a single sub.

What a waste of time & talent building a sound system to make a loud noise ;O better off lighting sticks of gelly in an armoured van !! that'd be quite impressive ...

Yeah fusion are loud chiark but doesnt mean they are quality. if you look at www.sounddomain.com ithink, you can see some better installs in the US which beat the fusion guys. There was one guy who beat the fusion guys with 3 kicker 15s i think.

Sorry, should have mentioned it was in the UK too. We don't do big pressure over here.
Agreed quantity does not make quantity, but IMHO you could do a lot worse than the fusion stuff.
