Question

Looking for better quality door speakers to fit in a MY97 wagon. Don't want to muck about just straight replacement. Just put in a new head unit (52watt) & standard Subaru ones in at present that vibrate the doors off at low volume.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Alas,

Infinity CS 605 component speakers will drop straight in the holes, as long as you use the metal speacer supplied, but almost hidden inside the box. Bass Junkies www.bassjunkies.com are doing them for £90 plus PP. IMHO well worth the money and will be good if you upgrade in the future, and add a few amps. I'm running mine at 100 Watts RMS and they are mind blowingly good Had a set of Alpine 5 1/4 components a few years ago, and they are just as good and a third of the price

Sorry to be thick Phil but are the infinity a third of the price of the Alpines or Vice versa.
Having to get wing sprayed, bought new head unit, Backbox and side repeaters. Money a bit tight at present.

Yes mate, the Alpine component speakers I had were £300 the infinitys are £90 and sound just as good Well pleased with mine now I'm driving the properly. I got my first set of CS605 more than a year ago, and was running off the head unit since then till now.

Cheers Phill C

PS £90 is a small price to pay for something that is so good
