Default Help with 06 WRX Hawk door speakers

Hey
My car came with an aftermarket Pioneer MVH-X560BT head unit but standard door speakers.
I'm looking to upgrade all 4 door speakers or atleast the front left/right door speakers to something good.
Looking to spend between £50-£80ish but not sure what size speakers I need.
I want some speakers that will fit straight into the gap left by removing the standard speakers. I don't wanna mess about with brackets or drilling onto wood etc, looking for a direct fit.
I want a nice powerful sound powered by the deck, not looking to add an amplifier etc, just want to know what the best for speakers I can get for the money.
Cheers

You will need adapters to get a big enough speaker in the door. You can look at this kit as a starting point:

If you are after a really strong sound you should consider a sub-woofer.

Everything is pretty much covered in the sticky in the forum.

As above, you will have to use spacers.

To get better sound you will to an extent need bigger magnets and a deeper cone.

there just is not enough space to the window mechanism with out them.

Spacers go in with out any change to the door cards

Think mine are off a Vauxhall Corsa from Halfords.. Again as above check the sticky thread all in there.

I upgraded all of mine to Hertz in my hawk and they made a massive difference. Really good sound, but not that cheap unless you can find some second hand.

Thank you very much guys, really appreciate that.
I think I'll buy a pair just for the fronts and may upgrade the rears later on.

Any brands in particular to shortlist?

How do I know which speakers will emit a dynamic and powerful soundstage?
I want some nice bassy speakers (without going down the amp+sub route), buying second hand will probably be my best bet.

In my experience you'll never get the full spectrum including bass fron just door speakers (no matter which you go for). I ended up still going down the amp and sub route and it made a massive overall effect.

I changed my fronts last year with a pair of Kicker 2 way speakers with the autoload adapters which included the wiring harness adapters as well. Easy fit, better sound quality but not much bass.
Changing the rears looks to be a massive pain as adapters are not available here. I believe you can get them from the states though.
I have been considering an underseat low profile sub to add some base as my pioneer head unit has got a decent amp built in.
