Hi

The stage 4 clutch claims to handle 250-300% more torque than the OEM clutch. The WRX has a standard 294Nm torque so it should be able to cope with 735-882Nm torque.

The WRX-STI has as standard 420Nm torque so again it should be able to cope with a massive 1050-1260nm torque. Impressive figures i admit!

The stage 2 can only handle an 80% increase so for the WRX 529Nm torque and WRX-STI 756Nm torque.

The stage 2 is developed with fast road use in mind so this is less harsh than the stage 4 but saying that the stage 4 is still ok for fast road use.

Might be interested in stage 2 kit for MY03 UK STi in a couple of weeks if you still have them.

Who is the kit made by?
Is it a complete kit? Anything else needed when fitting?

How much including delivery to Dublin?

Cheers,

Steve

The kit is made by Competition Clutch and is a complete kit. You will need to get your flywheel resurfaced when getting the clutch done or alternatively we do have lightened flywheels which we can do a good price on for you

Delivery to Dublin would be £25 for the clutch kit.

The stage 2 should be ok but the 4 and 5 are a lot stiffer.

So long as its a standard fitment flywheel then you should be able to fit it no problem.

i am running 420bhp with around 380lb/ft at the moment but hoping to go upto 450/400+ soon!!

will the stage 2 cope with that, bearing in mind it will get abuse, not track but hard road, really dont want another padel clutch

The stage 2 should be able to cope with that but it will be on the limits.

Unfortunately they don't do a stage 3 for the impreza. Just a 2, 4 and 5.

We've got all of them in stock at the moment but the 4 and 5 are both paddle clutches.

Code number 15019 is for the WRX 2001-2005. I have their US catalogue in front of me and there is no application listed for the Classic 2.0L.

That's correct. If we can get 5 names down then it'll be £279. If you want to purchase it out of the group buy then we can do it for £309

Have a look at the us website, clearly states v1-6 euro car, classic impreza, I'm sure there is no difference, I'll get in touch with them

I've just contacted Competition Clutch and apparently it's the same clutch in the classic as in the WRX 01-05. So yes... we have these in stock!

Ok cool, tried calling them but the person was out. Do you have any RB25 GTS-T skyline clutches also? I'm after one which needs to cope with 400lb/ft and track use, assuming stage 2.
If you do i'd be interested in 2 impreza clutches and 1 skyline clutch, either way i'm interested in 2 impreza clutches, one stage 2 and possibly a stage 4 although if the stage 2 will cope with just under 400lb/ft that may be a better option than fitting a paddle to my sti 5 speed box

Hi Guys,

We can now offer the clutches at these prices without the group buy! And if you're local to the North West (or fancy a drive up) we can fit it for you for £80!
