Default 5' long car ramps, used for lowered cars .... Anyone interested ?

Just found these on Ebay :-





Sports car long low angle lifting Ramps 2000Kg a pair on eBay, also, Lifting Tools, Garage Equipment Tools, Vehicle Parts Accessories (end time 16-Jul-09 01:48:05 BST)


I have asked the seller a question to see what kind of price I can achieve for a group buy, and also at what level of 'group' to get best discounts.

Saw these before, but I still don't think i'd get mine on those ramps. I imported a set of the Takata ramps a few years ago and that gives me enough to get the jack under.

id be interested if you can get it for at least £100 delivered, am sure driving slow with someone instructing, should get you on it..

lol i hope it dusnt catch on the way down

edit: just noticed its in rochdale.. i could collect .. so a group buy price would be good

Okay, I have had a reply :-

They will do a 5% discount on 10+ sets ordered, or 8% on 20+ sets ordered


If I were to get a few names of possibles down that would be ready to order, I may be able to strike a better bargain with definates.

Cost of delivery I don't think is 'too' bad due to the size/weight of the ramps.

So could I have a list of names forming ?

I could ask if they would do them in Carbon, for those carbon fetishists out there , if that will help you.

Thought I would also add,

If there are 2/3/4 people all within close proximity of each other, it might be an idea to have them sent to one destination, then pick them up from there. this would obviously drive the cost down quite dramatically.

IE, if you are interested Steve, I don't mind having them sent to yours and I could pick them up in my van from there, or have them delivered to mine and I could drop yours by when I am passing (I am in your area every weekday anyway )

Looks like the tape measure will have to come out to see if I have room to store a set. These look a brilliant and essential piece of equipment when you have a lowered car.

there £100 mate, good for getting under the car if your into detailing, trust me you wont be able to get a set cheaper, unless u make ur own

well if you click link mate there £100 before the group buy + 25 delivery. so it should budge a little with this group buy and one or 2 delivery points

As Eggy says, we get 5% off for an order of 10 sets, 8% for 20.

I have also suggested, that if we can get a few people local to each other, you start to save on the delivery also , as you have them dropped off at one point, then pick them up etc from that one point.

Me and Steve are quite close to each other, so it works for us + if anyone else from Essex orders, the cost goes down again

I have also suggested, that if I can get a confrmed 10 sets, I will then suggest a larger discount to the seller if we have 10 orders ready to be placed.

For a 5' set of ramps, I don't also think you'll get cheaper !

maaaaaaaybe, interested depends what funds are like after payday, got loads i need to finish the car mechanically

£100 on car ramps is still quite a bit but they will be handy
