Default CDF Racing Adj Cam pulleys - Early/late classic fitment.

Right... CDF have said they will make some Adjustable cam pulleys if the demand is high enough

These allow you to get the best out of your engine and set the cam timing PROPERLY for the best Torque/BHP and driveability

Standard pulleys have been known to be out of true by as much as 12 degrees. This cost's you power.

now correct me if I'm wrong, but if they are making the outers, then it would make sense for them to be able to make different inners to suit the later cams

Can I see who is interested in purchacing these so we can get some definate figures for costs and make some headway into getting them made

There are only JUN and RCM that make these at the moment, and the costs areen't exacly pocket friendly.

Thanks

Adam

Think Paul might be hinting at maybe getting an engine running on them first and seeing how they fair in a running engine for a period of time rather than a load of guys ending up with long faces "if" they fail, I'm not knocking CDF's work just that I personally would want to see a few sets tested back to back against others before committing to buying any.

Or CDF could simply give us a full gaurantee with every set purchased. Explaining that if one fails, they pay out for a new engine.

Hi !

Just seen this post on here! It's only been on here a week!

These pulleys have been a on going thing for a while which we have have been meaning to get cracking with a just haven't had time due to other work and these pulleys do take a long time to make ... plus they would take a while to do the drawings for as I would have to work out making the non-adjustable ones into adjustable ones,

We have adjustable samples for the 02-05 wrx/sti, so these are no problem to make , plus we have made some adjustable pulleys for the ej25..
and of course we have the non-adjustable solid ally pulleys which we have had tested on a few scoobs all with no problems,

We have had our solid ally classic pulleys running on a couple of cars up north for a few years with no problems ,

any questions about these please ask

When we work out a final price all pulleys will be the same as they are pretty much the same, all use the same toothform and are pretty much the same length's etc ... all that really change's is the cam trigger sensors,

What power/torque increases can be expected with adjustable cams over the standard ones?

Yes mate we can make them aswell.. but we won't be getting any sample's until the end of June,.

It's hard to say what power increase these will give but it will be a noticeable increase! By having these vernier pulleys you will allow the valves to open right up and timing to be perfect ,

Here's a pic of some we made for some mitsubishi guys, this is what they will look like if they are hard anodised and coloured middle's
