WRC Replica Spoiler Group Buy
I am running a group buy for the replica of the WRC spoiler for newage impreza.... time for an early christmas pressie to yourselves
I am dealing directly with the importer of these parts so the price is simply amazing.... £400 delivered !!
This is for WRC veined spoiler in fibre glass (un-primed) straight from the factory and is delivered to your address in the UK. These are very rare although some are now selling in the UK most of them retail at £750 + upwards
They will fit any newage WRX or STI although WRX will require extra holes drilled or use an STI boot lid.
We need to get to 15 confirmed orders to get this price.
Delivery takes 8 weeks as they are coming by sea. Payment will be 50% in advance and the remainder when they arrive at the docks in the UK. So will be here in time for Christmas
Runs until 9th October - all deposit payments will need to be paid by then.

This addition to Subaru's updated aerodynamics package first appearing at the 2003 Rally Monte Carlo. The new rear wing has four vertical slats that improve high-speed stability by maintaining downforce when driving sideways. The WRC rear wing uses the wind to help push the tail back behind the nose of the car.
As the wing pushes through the air, the air following the top surface of the wing gets flung upward. The force of air being redirected up off the wing pushes back down on the wing. On the bottom surface, the opposite happens; with the wing surface suddenly pulling up, air is sucked up to take its place, and when that happens, the air pulls back down on the wing. This generates a significant amount of downforce on the vehicle.
Slide into a corner at a 30-degree angle two things happen. First, the wing is effectively narrower to the air approaching it. Second, the cross section of the wing, carefully designed in the wind tunnel for optimal downforce, gets elongated, taking some of the violence out of the air's journey upward.
Violence is everything when you're dealing with air, so the no-longer optimal cross section of the wing means less downforce.
The slats force the air to straighten out and go across the wing as the team aerodynamicist intended. All the air slamming into the side of those four slats, plus the two end plates, also work to straighten the car out, much like the vertical stabilizer on an airplane.

you must be the group buy guru of scoobynet. i keep seeing your name under every third gb, or so.
i was also in the swrt merchendise gb you did recently.
anyway, this spoiler is not my cup of tea but i'll be interested in the wide arch bits (only for the rear tho, if possible.)
and then you will have to arrange a wheel spacer gb for us.

WOW... That looks incredible in Carbon!!!
You evil evil man... such temptation... oh my gosh I want that wing more than Christmas itself!
A grand tho... ouch!!! Its so unfair that carbon costs are going up due to those bloody air busses!
Will probably settle for the fibre glass version... I know someone who bought one of these in fibre glass and it wasnt the best quality and needed alot of attention making it look up to par b4 spraying.
Do you know if the quality is that good that all it needs is a spray or will it need a bit of work to make it look like its rivals (£750+)??
ps: seen this type of wing on one site and it was £1500!!!!!

I myself also really like the carbon fibre one, but paying nearly a grand for something you cannot see in the flesh is a bit worrying. I would just faint if it turned up with a scratch or slight defect, then I would have to send it back and hope that they sent a perfect one out again.
