Then its a case of putting it all back in, getting my wheels on and a few other top secret parts

Questions Questions...
What is the difference between these and the RCM version?
Any pics of this one from the side or rear?
Does this one hang over the rear of the boot?
How much would it cost to paint this??
How much do you reckon i'd get for my original STi rear spoiler?

I have just heard that the Fibre Glass versions can be shipped individually to you at a cost of £425.00 including postage (Air Freight - courier) - custom charges may be applied by our friends at the Customs and Excise.
So for the FG versions, there are no minimum numbers anymore
Lee_1075 - this applies to you too

2 - thought that they were on the thread, but if not take a peek at Tiny's in Essex Scooby Crew
3 - yes
4 - no idea as this varies around the country - best bet would be to speak to a local paint shop.

Has anyone else asked about a quote on painting costs. Reason I ask is I'm interested in one for my STi.
I saw one fitted a month or so back and got speaking to the owner, he's got it already painted from DRMOTORSPORT for £800. It looked fantastic, and great to see one fitted in the flesh.
So when I saw these at half the price I was interested. Then I got 3 painting quotes based on the photos. £352.50 / £400.00 / £564.00. Those prices were labour usually 8 - 10 hours, paint materials and VAT.
Gobsmacked.
It's all to do with the prep and the problems of painting into the uprights.
So if anyone has any better ideas for painting, I'd be very interested.

I have to be honest and say that I forgot about this but the feedback from all that I have spoken to about fibreglass versions of this is that they crack and split with use/vibration.... not great.
I am trying to get hold of the carbon rear spoilers as these will not suffer the same fate and I am sure that a good deal could be had on them... if I could get the company in japan to get back to me

So rather than spunk £400 on the fibre glass its a wiser investment to spend the extra £500 ontop and go carbon? Tis alot of mullar... but how gutted would you be if you spent £400 on the wing plus circa £400 on painting it, only for it to develope cracks...
Any chance theres an epoxy carbon version?? Unlike proper sexy looking carbon the epoxy stuff is like a half mix, not as nice to look at, but still retains the sturdiness of carbon fibre. I've gone for this on my rear diffuser... they did an epoxy version for £400 rather than full sexual carbon fibre weave for £almost a grand!
