I bought a top spoiler the same as this from Ebay 2 months ago. I'll warn you now that it will not fit the original brackets. I had my brackets removed and a body shop bonded the spoiler to the back window.
The spoiler looks really good and it is so far in no risk of coming off as it is well stuck. basically it's the price you pay for saving a fortune on the original item spoiler.
I'd be interested to see how the bottom spoiler works out and if it will just bolt on
Regards
James

It could be the bottom of spoiler is " smooth " like sti racing's and silvia's type and they haven't the recess's to sit on to the bracket as the original ???????

I've spoken to Francisco at SilviaParts and he has said the following;
"Since I have not installed this spoiler myself, I am not sure if it uses the exisitng fixings. Do you have any images of how the original spoiler fixings look like?
We have done other group buys in various websites in the past, but not for any Impreza forums. We used to mostly deal with Nissan Silvia S13 and S14 in the past."
Does anyone have any pics of either the roof or waist spoiler fittings?
Cheers,
Ian

I have some dimensions here if that helps...
http://www.evolutionmms.co.uk/subaru/
I'm sure they could find a turbo rear boot lid and try it on for size!!??
silviaparts.com - Please confirm also the mounting method for the top spoiler at the same time, for those of us interested in that as well.

the waist spoiler should fit on no prob's but it's the top one because of the original bracket !!! you want to see the bottom of original spoiler to see what it look's like to compare to these replica's which are smooth !!!!

guys be careful, silvia has been banned the spoilers don't have the recesses for the brackets, if i've read it correctly someone says take the brackets off and bond it on, this is just daft imo

Top Spoiler Info
OK this is what you need for the top spoiler in order for it to be able to fit over the brackets. You still need to use sikaflex to secure it but you have a lot more to glue to and you also still have the rear two bolts as well.
I emailed Silvia Parts for the Paypal instructions this morning as well but hadn't heard anything back when I left at 5:30pm.

That took ages, bl**dy PayPal! It took them 9 days to complete the verification of my account rather than the 3-5 days it should take.
I've paid as well now. Who else has paid, I thought there was another (other than trails)?
1.trails (waist spoiler) - PAID
2.speedydaveb (roof spoiler and waist spoiler) - PAID
3.simon perryman(waist spoiler, where’s the legs it sits on ?????)

Oh, and about this message:

They continued so action was taken against them
Hope that helps
