Thumbs up WRC ECUTEK TEK3 remap - MY97-MY05

I have just negotiated a deal with Allan at WRC Technologies in Silverstone for custom ECU mapping on their rollers. Their retail price is 650 + vat - 763 pounds. If we get 10 cars the price drops to 500 + vat - 587.50.

Allan said they can do a custom remap on the 97/98 scoobies aswell - I'm not sure if this is done with ECUTEK or another program system.

They are pretty flexible. I'm going to get mine done on the rollers on a saturday - as soon as we make the number - I want to save 175 quid aswell.

Just cut and paste as usual.

Chris,

I got a price from BR Developments last week. Ive posted it up on other forums but havent posted it up on here as I forgot! Ill post it up now.

Not trying to overtake your thread, just need to get some more members for the guys who want the Tek3 remap from BR Developments.

If anyone is further up near Silverstone, Ill send them your way

Cheers

Would they offer similar discounts on other bits e.g exhaust parts etc? I am interested in going the whole way and don't want to go the PPP route as I think 3rd party solution will be cheaper.

What would they do with a MY98 (UK Turbo). What improvement could I expect?

ECUTEK is for 99 model year cars and above.
ScoobyECU is for cars 1993-1996
A bespoke piggyback board is used on MY1997 & MY1998 cars.

£645 all in. I actually went over yesterday to get it done but decided to get a new fuel pump fitted before doing the remap. Got 225bhp on the rollers before any work started, then they had a few problems fitting the fuel pump which took 3 hours and also had a problem linking up the laptop to my car. My car has apparently got a 98 wiring loom with a 99 my ecu. So at the min the jobs not been completed and i've got to go back on friday.

I'm not having a dig at wrc in this thread btw, they were very helpful and tried there hardest to get it sorted and didnt want to do a bad job. Top guys!

Fingers crossed they reckon i should be pushing 275bhp on Friday
