Default When to change spark plugs and what kind.

Just wondering when I need to change the spark plugs on my 05 wrx wagon with PPP? It's just turned 60k.

You take the plugs out every time you change the oil? Not easier to just disconnect crank sensor under the alternator to get oil pressure? Or even easier on dbw car just put accelerator pedal to floor and crank

I bought the car from Subaru with a full stamped history the car had just done 60k and they serviced it but didn't change the plugs. What they say is that the plugs will have been changed at some point but not at this time. So not sure whether to just leave it for now!?

I would change them. Not really expensive and is easy enough to do with the right tools.

I'd Change them, it's a straightforward job.

Wouldn't use any anti seize / copper slip on the threads either, especially if they're a coated silver colour.

Go for the PFR7B's instead of the 6's

Never use any copper bases lube on the threads, as galvanic corrosion will occur.
I personally screw them in dry, but if you absolutely want to lube the threads use a ceramic based grease..
