Do you have an aftermarket dump valve fitted? Is it only when you pull away it runs lumpy or all the time?
My wr1 used to run lumpy when pulling away from a junction / traffic lights, then got the car remapped and all was sorted! Are you a member on the wr1oc?

Hi
The MAF sensor has been replaced about 18 month ago but could still be a possibility.
The lumpy ness is all the time. I do have a HKS dump valve. I have just been out in car and it ran ok not that lumpy. It seem to be worse in the mornings and the idle is really poor, it goes upto 2000 rpm down to o but does not stool. It will do this about 5 time then even out.
The car seem to be ok for a couple of days and the have a bad day

Idling up & down sounds like an air leak of some sort. Possibly the dump valve leaking? The 1st & last fault code make it sound as tho it cud be the maf at fault but I maybe wrong. See if you can find someone who wud be willing to let u try their maf sensor so it can be eliminated

Mine was never that bad with the revs dropping off like that. Do you still have the std valve? Could try fitting that and see if that helps. I'm no mechanic but trial and error.
Fitting aftermarket dump valves dose something with the fuelling I think which causes the lumpy running! If that's not right am sure someone will say!
Maybe worth asking on wr1oc as well.

Ok I will try a different MAF.
today when my car was on the fault code reader when I revved the car the voltage reading on the MAF sensors was only moving up to 3.4 volts from 0 volts
I assume it should be much higher when the revs are over 6000 rpm.
Will the MAF sensor affect/or cause the mis fire?

Those codes do sound like maf at fault but I would reset ecu fault codes then run car untill cel comes on then check codes again to see if they are the same (try this several times). Once you've done this unplug one sensor at at time checking cel code each time, then reconnecting and resetting ecu each time. If/when you get a similar code when unplugging/testing them one by one to any codes you're getting before, then that part you've unplugged is likely to be the culprit..

Hi peeps
I went for my session at power station today and this is what happened.
They first checked the power output - 315bhp - I was disappointed with this as when it was last mapped it made 343bhp.
Power station said it is not running right because of the air filter (K&N aftermarket) the 600cc injectors, the map that had been done previously and the fuel I have in the car 95.
So they said for £800 they will remap with a licence, put 4 pink sti injectors in and fit the standard air filler and I should have a car that runs sweet and 330 bhp.
What do you guy think? Please comment.
All comments are welcomed.
And I hope this helps some of you.
