does anyone know where i could get one of these, since i had my car back from the garage im only boosting 9ish psi, just checked the hose and cant seem to feel it anywhere...help??

 

if it had no pill surely it would be over boosting, hense the name restrictor.

 

you can use mig welding tips bud. mine was missing in my sti and thats what ive used. google the correct size of hole for your car. machine mart do them if theres one close. bug sti is 0.9 of the top of my head but check for the wrx.

 

mine was hardly boosting at all. it was like limp mode 0.5 bar until the pill went in and then boosting a healthy 1 bar again

 

Nope, its called restrictor pill because it restricts the air going to the actuator and bcs which bleed boost to control it

 

Ahh thankyou, had it in my head back to front...

 

On the early impreza`s(with slanting intercooler) it was larger the restrictor hole size the more boost and on the later ones it is opposite.

 

Why not ask the garage what they have done with it?.
