Yup i think its a fuel problem and leaning out. Ive had very similar and was found to be the fuel pressure reg. Could also be the pump not keeping up with the pressure required when boosting

Worth checking the vac line for the fpr is still connected to the manifold. Just to the left of the alternator at the front

Im talking about the light? Why is it flickering at a certain revs?

Why does it flash when i change gear, its only at high rpm. And its not always there.

Map has been checked by Andy C. An all is sweet.

The turbo flutter is normal lol!!

Its a carberry map, so im mafless. An no, it has a HKS SSQ dump valve fitted an mapped to suit.

The only thing i can think of, is something loose, or vibrating at around those rpm. An the knock sensor is picking it up?

But in the same breath, that wouldn't explain it being intermittent? Secondly there are no stored fault codes? And upon map inspection (as mentioned), engines healthy?

Its an 02 WRX. 56k miles. Regularly serviced

Mods

Fmic
550cc injectors
TGV deletes
K&N 150mm intake/reducer
80mm samco inlet
Ported TD05 FE turbo
Harvey smith wrapped up pipe
Ported an wrapped oe headers
3" bell mouth DP
revolution 3" system
Walbro fuel pump
3 port boost solenoid

Duel map carberry map
Switchable anti lag
Switchable HI/LOW map
Launch control.

Peak 1.3bar settles at 1.2 bar

Spec/service/miles mentioned to give idea of car an history. It doesnt seem to be effecting it. But id obviously like to know what IT is, just incase.

Cheers guys

looks most likely to be the knock sensor playing up. going out of parameters. usually can happen if they fail, or the ecu is picking up what it thinks is a misfire, but usually can be a neutral switch issue on the gearbox
