Have you only just fitted the k&n and now getting the noise?
Look for 'turbo chatter' on youtube and listen to the noise, if its making that kind of sound then it basically means the turbo is passing more air than the engine can consume.
So the excess pressurised air is going back through the turbo causing compressor stall (the chatter sound)
If its only just started doing it because you have fitted the filter its probably just induction noise.
If the filter has been on there a while and its just started making the noise it could be a sign of a worn turbo.
The compressor blades starting to rub on the compressor housing.
If its the latter it will soon start to make a screeching sound.

It's not chatter,I think it's the sound of excess pressure being bled away from the waste gate, but didn't think I would hear that much with standard boost solenoid.
