Default 2.1 stroker

Hi all
I'm looking into doing a 650bhp 2.1stroker engine I've got the closed deck block but I'm confused at stage one with regards to rear thrust has anyone got any pics of before and after the modification was done and what exactly is needed to get the block ready to accommodate other engine parts I've got a machine shop in mind but don't have any pics or calculations to give him any help on this build would be greatly appreciated

if you are to use a later crank they all have the thrust washer located at no.5 whereas the CDB's are based around the early carnks with thrust central at no.3......

we do this on a vey regular basis and carry out the machine work for both this and 14mm stud and supply all components or even a total build if required

I know you say you have a engineering place in mind but prob best to use a Subaru specialist tobdo the work as they will know all the info your asking about.
Advanced automotive or wms (to name only 2/there are loads more) do the work needed in house and can advise on all aspects of the work needed.
Prob best to phone them and have a good chat, would be best to get rear thrust conversion done and blocks line bored to suit pistons and faces honed etc .
Hope this helps
Pete

There's Eurospec 2000 in Slyfield Ind. Estate, can't say at all though what they are like.

I've seen plenty of mental stuff there, I used to work in Slyfield.

I go to Proven in Haslemere, top fellas they are. Fantastic service every time.....without fail.

Ignore the pricing in the early pages, but feel free to ask for a quote. As you can see we've been building 2.1 strokers constantly since 2008 and I doubt that a week has gone by since that we haven't been working on at least one.
We've built them in all kinds of configurations from TD04 equipped cars to GTX35 700+hp monsters and have many piston/rod combos to suit peoples budgets and power requirements.

Had one of the early one off you many many moons ago ,,only ran it to 450bhp due to standard WRX heads but its had a very hard life and still going strong after 5 years and about 20k miles
