Default Right guys need some help with UK classic cutting out

I'm going to pick up a 99 classic tomorrow, and it has running issues. Aparently it runs for a few seconds then just cuts out, but will start again.

I'm looking to get the vehicle recovered to my house, but if anyone has got any easily tested parts that could be causing this please speak now.

So far the only thing I can think of is MAF but I'm not sure if that would make it stall?
