Default Oil temps

Hi,
Having now followed the advice on here to move my oil temp sensor I finally have readings. After a 10 minute slow drive, then with getting the engine up at 4k I was reading 84 or so degrees. The temp seemed to match the water temps at all times.
I need to start taking long journeys, what should I expect the temps to be during motorway driving?
Thanks

Thanks Tubbs, I left the car idling for a few minutes and it remained in the 80's, oil pressure sat at 2 bar.

Mine sits at 90 degrees except when I give it some beans, when it can peak at 110 deg.
Defi.

Out of interest, where's your oil temp. sender?

Mine sits at about 90-95 in normal driving depending on the age of the oil, and creeps to 95-100 when pushing it

If it's already managed 500 miles, there aint much wrong with it, my theory is if it gets past the first 20 without hearing the "death rattle" it's fine.

I couldn't hear much past the power steering pump up until yesterday, bit of a bitch of a job.
Breathers were full of gunk yesterday though, as I wasn't using it on long journeys. Oil is fine though. And the turbo seems to scream at 4k, mind you it's starting to boost at about 2k and it's only a td04
