Default Blanking off the dv

In my new set up I've decided to run dv less only problem is what would I do with the pipe that connects to the dv ? Is it just a fact of blanking it off to ?

Here is the pipe I mean

should be able to just plug or cap it off. dunno if a plug would blow out though, maybe better to plug it and put a small jubilee clip on it.

you selling the turbosmart DV?

I just prefer it tbh. If you have an induction kit you will get chatter, but on the stock intake system like i have you cant hardly hear it.

Mine felt ****e on gear change and lift off then back onto throttle so i took it off and its cured that.

Noise suppresion usually

Although if you are using a garret gt turbo with roller bearing core then a dv is essential

Easiest way to run dv-less is stick a thin piece of tin/aluminium between intercooler and dump valve, that way all existing pipework remains as is

I done it on my old classic on td04 and agreed makes it feel better to drive

Thought I'd re open this thread as my cars getting built next week now a lot of people have advised me not to blank of my dv with my TD04 hybrid because it's not strong enough to take it so I'm double checking
