i dont think there is any real answer to this,my previous engine ran a cosworth high flow oil pump (£200+) and it failed after 41k resulting in big end failure

i now run an 11mm modded oil pump from advanced automotive

Stick with standard pump it will be more than adequate, a modified 10mm is where the pressure relief valve (prv) is shimmed to open at a different point.

Hi there

Not sue why you want to have fitted bigger oil pump if you are clearly don't need.

I would go probably only with modified 10mm Oil pump as most,I would speak with Alyn@AS Performance or David@APi

Honest opinion is standard will do exactly what you want it to do.

Put the spec of what your doing up here, as said the modified one is exactly the same pump, it's just shimmed for different operating pressures to a given scenario or need.

Hi there

In most cases OE 10mm will be enough,we run on 2.1L modified 10mm Oil pump,on 2.35L we run 11mm Oil pump

Honestly 10mm or Modified 10mm Oil pump is enough in most cases on 2.0L or 2.1L
