Clutch pedal looks to be same height as brake pedal.

It seems a lot of Scoobs have a high bite point and still in good shape including mine (05 blob) It still grips like a demon I've heard this is quite normal? I'm not totally convinced? David at API may be able to shed some light on this or As Performance.

Mine has been like that for over 30k miles. I've always had a bite point only about an inch from the pedal being fully released...

Late model cars do seem to bite higher than GC8 shape. My demo car with launch control always had a high bite and launched I don't know how many times doing demo's for customers, it was always high but never slipped.

Hydraulics have nothing to do with the biting point, unless there is a lack of fluid in the reservoir, and it has out just about enough the bottom of the reservoir to make it work. But then it'll be right on the floor.

Mine has always had a high biting point. It's a '00 classic and it's on 125k with a new clutch in there.
