Default my00 missfire?

Hi, when driving the car around town it is fine, soon as you hit a motorway or bypass and try to acclerate and you go above 5, 000 rpm and it feels like a machine gun going off and sounds like one. I have unplugged the maf and the car cuts out, I have cleaned the maf and reset the ecu. I have checked for fault codes and there are none.
The car isn't heavilt modified just has the following bits

3 inch decat turbo back exhaust
Walboro fuel pump
Sytec fuel filter
Hks mushroom air filter
Fmic
Standard recirculatin dv
Was told when bought the car it had a bigger turbo but the guy didn't have a clue about subarus so I assume it's just a td04
440 injectors
Invoice saying mapped at scooby clinic

I have had the car just over a year and no problems until now. I haven't added to the car since I bought it as ive been getting together all the parts I want to put on it and do it all at once and get it re mapped then. This is really bugging me now. Any help would be great guys. This is my 4th scoob and first time ive had this problem.

Do you think it could be worth checking the plugs?
