Default Possible improvements

Evening all,

Asked this on my very tame project thread but here goes.....
My current spec is as below on my 2005 wrx:

Brand new Subaru engine from Subaru with cosworth pistons
Sti inlet manifold with tgv delete and heat spacers
550cc injectors
Zero sport thermostat
Aluminium uprated radiator
Japspeed front mount intercooler
Cold air feed to Pipercross induction kit
Walbro fuel pump
3 inch turbo back cobra straight through exhaust
Scoobyclinic de cat up pipe
SC36 turbo
SFS inlet pipe
SFS coolant hoses throughout

Exedy pink clutch
Hard race gearbox mount
Uprated pitch mount
Uprated powerflex mounts throughout drive train
Super pro gear linkage bush

Super pro steering rack bushes
Powerflex bushes throughout suspension
Eibach springs

Ebc drilled and grooved discs
Yellow stuff up front and blue stuff at the back

That's all the performance stuff I can think about. The car is running 355bhp but is quite laggy.

At that bhp would you recommend GT Spec headers or ported oem? I am going to alter the pipe work on the fmic so it has less aggressive bends in it anyway. Any other ideas?

The other thing is I want to push the car towards track orientated so braided fuel lines, in car fuel tank etc and want to form a fire proof bulkhead in the back .....what thickness ally would people recommend?

Thanks, Adam

How are you going to alter fmic pipe work?
Got the same unit to go onto mine!
What about rotated inlet?
Meant to improve lag from reducing distance of pipe work!
Always wondered if its as simple as being able to rotate oem sti inlet manifold...

Boost graph is attached which is quite laggy for a 350 brake turbo imho.

Thanks mate! I'm going to cut the pipework about that comes out the turbo so it has less bends by changing hoses etc.

I've heard a lot about the trick up pipe......is it a better product than the Scooby clinic item which is what I have at the moment? Thanks!
