Default What size tyres should I get ?

Hi
I have a bugeye wrx with 17 inch alloys and they are currently fitted with 215/40/17's , I need to change them and I'm just curious what size tyres other people have. They do look a bit small under the arches especially with my black alloys, and I wanted to fill the gap between the tyre and bodywork a bit more. I was thinking if going 215/45 or 50/17 or someone said 225/45/17. Can anyone help me please as I am unsure which way to go

Cheers.

I have the same alloys on my T2000 and currently have 215/45/17 's on them, it fills the gap a little bit

It's a newage, do you think I should use 215 instead of 225 then?
