what version scoob do I have?
My plate reads:
gc8dl8d
but it simply does not add up when it comes to the wiring scheme for this car. Is this some kind of special edt?
Its a 4 plug ECU that makes it a MY96. But none of the wires are the same as all the MY96 scheme I have found.
Please help!!
the reason I'm asking is because of this thread: https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...-cylinder.html as I can't figure out why it's only firing on one cylinder.

I had the same trouble with my 1997 T2000 when i came to wiring diagrams. I had to use 3 different diagrams to make one that almost suited my car. Mine turned out to be an Australian variant, according to the model number, that was shipped to the UK before and sold new as a UK car.

It is a GC8 (impreza sedan 2.0) MY97 WRX Nowim not sure what the L relates to as that should be a number relating to what doors it has!
Now a quick google of that chassis number brings up people unable to identify the vehicle too.
How many doors does it have?

I said before, I had the same trouble as you. I had to use 3 different diagrams to make sense of my wiring. Mine is a 97 UK spec car with the 3 plug ECU. Yours being a 4 plug makes it a 96 model.
Can you take a photo of the VIN plate and post it? Cover the chassis number obviously. That way we can see the model info.
