Default Coughing/spluttering after turbo change

Changed my turbo and turbo inlet hose today and now I have a major issue.

The car wont idle, I have to keep blipping the throttle to keep it running.

It wont drive unless, again, the throttle is constantly blipped. Its like a huge air leak.

I have changed the turbo inlet pipe for a solid 2.25'' pipe as I have a catch can. The only FMIC pipe I had off was the turbo to the inner wing, all couplings are tight. I also changed the MAF housing but its still the same standard size so shouldnt need re-scaling. Swapped the MAF for a spare, still the same.

No fault codes either

So, is changing the turbo inlet to a larger diameter pipe likely to cause the spluttering/coughing?

If not, Im gonna have to change everything back to standard and change things one at a time
