Default Help Poor running when cold

My car is not driving very nice when cold it's lumpy unresponsive and generally not nice when its cold at normal speeds.

Also it's making like a howling noise at about 3500 rpm, it's not loud but I was just wondering if its normal

Any ideas please.

You had a check around the engine? I had similar symptoms after the hose on the recirc valve came loose.
