Default Battery not charging/alternator wiring

Hi all, just done a bottom end swap on my 03wrx for an sti lump.
All back together and running nice, bar the battery not charging!
I've used a alternator flipping kit so alternator is relocated in a/c old place.all wires are connected back okay and all plugged in okay, belt is tight so no slipping either.
The battery light does not come on,on the dash.so guessing a circuit is not being made,is an alternator that fragile I could of damaged it durin removal and refit?? Or is there a wiring fault which is common?? Or has anyone had the same issue? Any help welcome as its killing my brain trying to figure it out! Thanks jake.

Will double check all earth points later,I presume they are okay, it's been fine for a year so woul be very coincidental if they packed up now lol and I was careful with it,never got chucked around at all.thys why I'm thinking wiring incorrect somewhere :-(

It maybe the flipping kit is not allowing the alternator to earth. run a new earth lead fron battery negative to the alternator body

So the alternator shell itself has to be in contact with an earth?
