Replacement windscreen question
apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I have some paint issues along the top of the windscreen on a 2005 Blob sti, I was told by a bodyshop that when the windscreen was changed there was scratches caused to the bodywork causing the paint imperfections and rusting.
The question I have, is do Imprezas from the factory have the Chassis number etched on all windows? If so then the window is standard but I would like to know before forking out £400 for paintwork which I might not need to do.
Cheers

Normally it wouldn't be on the window it self. But it is some practice.. Is your windscreen a oem one ? It will have subaru etched on to it? 99% of the time you will not get a dealer replacement screen. Just a oem quality one...
