Default New age WRX hesitation problem

Evening all im new on here and apologise for my first post been one asking for help. I picked up my first Scooby yesterday after moving from a mk4 golf 1.8t. I have noticed the new car seems to have a massive mid range flat spot and by the time the turbo kicks in its near redline. I have checked turbo out no excessive oil or movement in the shaft and when it does boost it flys. I have checked all vac pipes and manifold for leaks or splits and nothing. It definably feels like a sensor fault over a mechanical one. I have cleaned boost solenoid and maf too no avail. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
