Can't find my ABS "Brain" Please help

Can't find my ABS "Brain" Please help
Hi
I have a '97 Legacy 2.5l auto Outback Wagon. The ABS light has been on. Mechanic says the system is not responding with fault information. Needs a new brain. I got a used one. I cannot find it to replace it. I looked under the back seat, under the front seat. Under the dash on the drivers side and under the hood both ahead of and behind the passenger side wheel. Nothing looks like the replacement part I have. Also none have the massive wire socket that this has even if they do look different. Where else can I look??? I gave searches here, at other Suba sites and in the net in general without any luck. I wish I was allowed to post a pic. The new module is a T66910200 AKA 27521FA020 Nippon ABS. Any suggestions???

I saw that. Are you talking about #1 ABS Control Module and Hydraulic control unit? The one I received does not look like anything in that area. Since I can't podt a photo here I signed up for a photo storage place and here is a link to what I have Did he send the wrong thing?

If a picture of the area under the hood what was indicated by #1 would help let me know.
