Hi guys,

Not too sure if I have a problem here but my car is back firing alot, even on a excellorator blip.

I recently had my flex pipe changed in the exaust as it split, And also started using Shell Nitro which seemed to make the car back fire alot more than on tesco

I have gone back to Tesco fuel but my car is still backfiring its heart out, no excessive smoke or anything.

Could the front of my exaust slightly loose or something cause this?

I had this problem when there was a massive hole in the top of my back box. Loved the sound though.

I presume you've done the good old hand over the exhaust trick?

 

Haha well I just tried that on the front section, lets just say I'm putting cold water on my hand right now!

But if there are any holes or its not sealed correctly could that cause the backfire?

No tubby I just installed a decat and a bigger turbo without a map

What I meant was hand over the tail pipe. I'm hoping you still have a hand left.

Prob best to get it on the ramps for a check to see if and where the leak is coming from.
