Driving home along the coast road not nailing it but giving it a blast when all of sudden the smoke startin belching out the exhaust it did look a bit blue the car started to stutter but I did manage to drive it the 5 miles home, about 2 miles to go the engine temp got sky high. Got home opened the bonnet and there was like a hissing noise from where the head gaskets are.

Any info much appreciated, could it be the head gaskets???? Got them

Sounds like HG failure to me. Let it cool down fully then top up the levels & get it to a specialist.

So just top up water levels in header tank?

Fill it up and let it idle so you can bleed most the air out the system, heaters on full let it warm up and use a large funnel to fill it so you can keep a lot of coolant above the header tank.

When I went to start it it really struggled Dont think it will sit on idle? Aaggghh
