Hi guys, cars cranking but not starting,

i have done the classic diagnostic test and brought up 4 codes

not sure what these are would any of them affect the car not starting?

the fuel pump primes and sends fuel to chamber but its just not starting up,

everything else seems to be in tack just not starting at all

i was driving one day and the car just cut out and hasnt started since,

can anyone help?

 

does the engine sound as if it is turning over as normal or does it sound as if it is spinning fast

 

normal i guess?? i can sort of hear little pops in the exhaust not sure

 

bit of a long shot but any problems with the alarm?

have you tried resetting the ecu or disconnecting the battery for a while

 

yeah tried all that mate

 

cam or crank sensor

 

changed cam and crank no success still>? plus it would of thrown a code

 

nothing daft like bad connection on ht leads

 

44 Turbocharger wastgate regulator valve
45 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor malfunction
24 Idle air control valve
31 Throttle position sensor

 

any of them stop car running?

 

Maf? I put mine in the wrong way around once and it didn't start

 

I replied to your more recent thread describing a main relay problem. Saw this thread and all your sensor error codes. Wondered if your 5v reference from the computer is the problem as MAP and TPS sensors use this (amongst others - potentiometers and pressure sensors in the main). Try watching this video from scannerdanner as this will explain things far better than I can!!
Basically one of the sensors could be shorting the 5v reference system and this will certainly stop your car from starting.
