Default crankshaft pulley

hi guys have you any advice on what to use for removing the above on a classic?

If you mean the nut, then handbrake on, stick it in 5th, and a 3 foot or more breaker bar on the nut, then heave.

Or you can buy the big *** service tool for £40-50 to hold the pulley but you still need a socket, breaker bar and have to heave.

Or you can get a long breaker bar wedge it on the inner wing or floor pull the crank sensor connector off so it won't fire up and turn the key and use the starter motor to crack it off(never done this as I never dare).

Wedge the bar on the floor - works every time

lol its my spare engine block so not currently fitted. I'll give it a go with the tools I have

If the engine is out, then fit the flywheel back on and lock with with a 10mm allen key between the ring gear and bell housing - should be able to crack the pulley bolt loose with a breaker bar now.

Am I right in saying you advised to wedge an Allen key between the flywheel teeth and the Bell housing

Yes.
It will lock the flywheel and will not damage anything.
