Default Boot lock jammed - 2005 Blob

Guys, this morning the rear lock on the 2005 Blob STI has jammed. I can still unlock it with the leaver by the drivers seat, but I can't open the boot with the key any more - it just won't turn, feels just like then the steering lock is on!

Thoughts or suggestions?

Isnt there a little bar on the the lock that has two positions? Or does that disable the drivers seat release?

Mine did this a while ago, I took the lock out and stripped it down as far as I could, sprayed it all up with WD and it's worked fine ever since, I think it was a build up of crap stopping the key going right in the lock...
