Default Sparkplug tools!

Is there a proper tool for changing plugs? I've got an assortment of extensions that will do the job, but it's a PITA changing back and forth from 3/8" to 1/2" and back again as the plug gets tighter and the ratchet won't reach the socket!

Thanks in advance, Adam.

Just used a knuckle joint. I removed my airbox, battery and washer bottle to make the room I needed.

There is a 3/8th UJ in my selection of tools for the job, was just curious to see if anyone's found a wündertool that makes it easier.

There is a bar with a fixed socket available but it may only be available from a main agent.
The whole thing is about 6" long and is slipped over the spark plug before the ratchet is attached. Works well.

Snap on ratchet, Plug spanner, short extension and swivel. Battery out, washer bottle out, induction/air box out. Simples. Can be done from underneath if you have ramps.

That's the sort of thing I'm after, don't suppose it has a part/tool number? I seem to be doing Impreza plugs at least once a week now (thankfully not on the same car!) so would be worth investing in the proper job.

O.K. first and foremost you are a PITA as I had to move 3 cars to get into my garage to get the tool and it is snowing where I am!

The tool is actually 13cm so only a little over 5" and not 6" as I mentioned previously.
There is no makers stamp on the tool. It is stamped SP LT-492. I did a quick check online but couldn't come up with anything. I assume the SP is a spark plug reference. Perhaps you or some of the guys on here can come up with a supplier from the stamping on the tool. Either way, let me know how you get on. Good luck!
